Project

FINTURE took over a CRM-class system from the bank’s business team. In other words, we undertook a challenging task. The goal was to inventory all data sources in use. This included numerous dispersed, siloed databases. Additionally, it was necessary to reconstruct a large number of SQL queries. However, the greatest challenge of the project was analyzing the application code. Specifically, this applied to both the frontend and backend layers. The next step was to prepare a system redesign plan. The primary objective was to handle an increasing number of reporting queries. Worryingly, various business units of the bank were submitting more and more reporting needs. As a result, the planned change aimed to significantly reduce query execution times. Before FINTURE took over, ad-hoc reporting was unstable. It had also become increasingly time-consuming and difficult to maintain.

Results

As a result, after three months of intensive work by FINTURE’s analysis and development team, the database feed processes were redesigned. In addition, all application layers and structures were fully documented to ensure coherent development and long-term maintenance.
