Large financial institution operating in the leasing industry (top 5 lessors) expecting increased sales of motor insurance

Expectations

The Client aimed to increase their portfolio in the area of sales and renewals of motor insurance for the offered leasing products. The solution was designed to provide the Client with competitive offers generated online from various insurance companies.

Project

The competition in the motor insurance market is intense, and personalizing offers for individual customers is crucial. As a result, presenting an offer from just one insurance company is no longer sufficient to meet market demand. To address this, the project team decided to build a solution that queries multiple insurance companies (ICs) online for available offers. Despite the differences in those offers, the system presents them in a comparable way, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Additionally, one of the key challenges the team faced was enabling the easy addition of new insurance companies and the flexible configuration of motor insurance risks. By leveraging the Camunda BPM platform and a microservices-based approach, we successfully addressed this need.

Results

As a result, the client now has the ability to offer insurance online and, by analyzing end-customer preferences, prepare proposals tailored to their needs. Additionally, the process has been simplified and now allows for easy status tracking and future development.
