With the growing popularity of remote and hybrid work models, many companies face the challenge of choosing a suitable work format. In making this decision, management must weigh not only the preferences of the team or their own beliefs but also the pros and cons of each model. Every decision should consider the specifics of the company's operations, available office space, and a range of other factors – in other words, the reasons for choosing a particular model will vary from one organization to another.
Remote work is performed outside the employer's premises, while hybrid work combines remote work with on-site office work. According to research conducted by the Polish Economic Institute in December 2023 on a sample of 1,000 Polish enterprises, 33% had already introduced the possibility of remote or hybrid work.

The Appeal of Remote and Hybrid Work
A publication by SGH, "Challenges of Managing People in a Hybrid Work Organization," highlights numerous benefits of remote and hybrid work. Primarily, employees experience greater job satisfaction and higher self-assessed productivity. These models offer greater flexibility and make balancing professional duties with parenting easier. Another advantage from the employees' perspective is time savings due to the absence of daily commutes, which also translates into financial savings from lower transportation costs. Employees also appreciate the economic benefits of preparing meals at home and the ability to manage health issues without taking sick leave for minor ailments that, while preventing office attendance, do not render the employee incapable of working.

Employee Satisfaction
The Kickresume report reveals a strong correlation between remote work models and employee happiness. The data indicate that employees in a 100% remote model reported the highest overall happiness level at 73%. However, when comparing "completely happy" and "somewhat happier" responses, hybrid work models with office visits once a week or once a month come out on top. Research by Accenture shows that 83% of employees worldwide view the hybrid model as optimal for the future. Hybrid work can effectively compromise the needs and attitudes of employees, employers, and labour market challenges (PIE, 2024).
At Finture, we ensure that our work models meet the needs and expectations of our employees and the specifics of the projects we undertake. Therefore, we have introduced flexible solutions: in some projects, a remote model is in place, allowing our employees complete freedom and efficiency in task execution. In other projects, we use a hybrid model, typically one day a week in the office, facilitating direct team collaboration. Everything indicates that our approach contributes to employee satisfaction and the success of our projects.
